International Conference on the Digital Humanities for Historical works and Sinographs

The richness and diverse attempts at digital humanities have become an area of scholarly trend across the world since 1980s. Nowadays, the new research methodologies that is differentiated from previous years is required due to the grand discourse of the Fourth Industrial Revolution appeared after 2010 and the COVID-19 emerged in 2019. Under these circumstances, the concern over the calling and role of Classical Chinese in East Asian studies has become an essential part for all researchers involved in the relevant studies. This conference aims to share the achievements of the development, transformation, and implementation of Classical Chinese, a common cultural heritage in East Asia, which have been performed by researchers from around the world for the new era.

自上世紀80年代起,使用数字技术的人文學研究一直以多種方式進行,且其已經成爲了全世界學問的潮流。此外，2010年以後出現的“第四次產業革命論”和2019年發生的新型冠狀病毒皆向我們積極要求新的人文學研究方法。在這樣的時代背景下，對於研究東亞漢文古典籍的時代使命與角色的考虑成爲了漢文古典研究者的共同課題。世界各國相關研究者以東亞共同文化遺產即漢文古典爲對象不斷進行開發、研究以及運用。本研討會將共享其成果,并尋求适合新时代的研究方法。

1980년대부터 시작된 디지털 기술을 활용한 다양한 인문학 연구 시도는 전 세계적으로 하나의 학문적 흐름으로 자리 잡았다. 2010년 이후 출현한 제4차 산업혁명이라는 거대담론과 2019년 발생한 COVID-19는 연구자들에게 이전과는 다른 인문학 연구방법론을 요구하고 있다.  이러한 시대적 상황 아래에서 동아시아 한문고전의 시대적 소명과 역할에 대한 고민은 한문 고전 유관 연구자 모두의 과제가 되었다. 본 학술대회는 세계 각국의 관련 연구자들에 의해 시행되어 온 동아시아 공통의 문화유산인 한문 고전적을 이용한 연구를 새로운 시대에 맞도록 개발·변용·응용한 성과를 공유하는 장이 되고자 한다.
